September 2016 | acrobatic, folk music, sci fi play | original performance: 70 minutes | clip length: 3 minutes
I produced, directed, and ensemble-devised Exile 2588 for Almanac Dance Circus Theatre. The show was an acrobatic, folk-music, space-epic adaptation of the Greek myth of Io, a woman exiled for a crime she didn’t commit. In this clip, the Triumvirate, a futuristic judge of sorts, has just exiled Io from Earth and she boards her spaceship. The show blends acrobatics, theatre, dance, circus, and live original music by Chickabiddy, a folk duo based in Philadelphia. This clip exemplifies my research into blending different art forms and a focus on the body.

September 2017 to present | solo performance, LGBTQ+, Tarot, autobiography | original length 60 minutes; clip length 3 minutes
This is a 3min clip from the beginning of my solo show, Doppelbanger, which I premiered at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in September 2017. This recording is from a second run in February 2018. I’ve since performed it at The Tank in NYC and for the Cincy Fringe Festival. The show is an autobiographical gay Tarot cabaret and here you can see some of my interaction with the audience. Throughout the show I tell vulnerable stories about myself and offer an opportunity for the audience to be vulnerable as well when I read their Tarot cards.

May 2017 | immersive, guided performance | original performance: 90 minutes | clip length: 1:38
This is a trailer for Gumshoe, a 90-minute, live, immersive adventure through the Free Library of Philadelphia that I production-managed for New Paradise Laboratories. The project was heavily funded by the William Penn Foundation and I was directly responsible for ~$100,000. Tickets were free to the public ad we had an accompanying cell phone-based interactive adventure that took listeners across the city to solve a mystery. This reflects my ability to oversee large, complex projects with many stakeholders over long periods of time.

August 2015 | public art, aerial dance, large festival | all-day event | clip length: 1:05
For two years I managed INVISIBLE RIVER, which produced large public performances near he Strawberry Mansion Bridge in Philadelphia. In 2015 (attached video) this was a one-day event and in 2016 it was a two-day event. Our budget for these two events was ~$200,000. The video demonstrates my experience producing high-quality, outdoor, community-based art events with substantial budgets.

original performance: 20 minutes | clip length: Please watch from 41:26 to 44:20.
In May 2018, my collaborator, Vanita Kalra, and I taught a two-week intensive in devised theatre at Stephens College to 20 first-year acting students. This clip demonstrates our ability to teach others the skills necessary to create and perform evocative and high-quality imagery for the stage. This final piece of the night depicts a typical classroom irrevocably destroyed by a school shooter. At the beginning of this clip, foley sound effects mark the entry of the shooter into the room.
